I Have seen a lot of talk about it trough the internet, I was just wondering, what Exactly is it? A show Or something? and why is it so Popular?

People call them "Robot Singers". They are like a software and people can purchase it to make songs. However, they are japanese only.

Basically, you enter musical notes as well as lyrics and a synthesized voice will sing it for you. Each voice has its own image and voice that the fanbase has elaborated on with images and animations.

Kasane Teto used to be only a Utau, but she was recently purchased by Vocaloid and is now my favorite vocaloid.
She was my favorite before she was a vocaloid, even though she wasn't a vocaloid :3
