I'm not much of a dater guy yes i'm fifteen but i'm shy around girls i like.

I'm probably in love (yes, I use that word) with the aforementioned girl.  Just don't think of how many things could go wrong.  In fact, if she is anything like my friend, self-humiliation (not too much, just make a statement and use a demeaning phrase afterwards. example: I went up to my friend, said, "Want to know how manly I am?" and proceeded to tell her that when a Taylor Swift song came on I sung it - fully).  Also, if you make a joke, try not to laugh at it too much.  Of course, this could be useless to you because everybody is different.

Yes, it does and confidence is a good thing to have.  I used to be like you and now that i think that I'm the stuff I can talk to girls easily and ask them out even easier.

I'm flattered, just remember we all have different types of humor.  Laugh at her jokes, but again, not too much.  And don't start off with a joke.  Have a lovable personality, don't act too much like you are trying to impress her but don't give her the idea that you don't care.
