Author Topic: Cannot Port Forward: Alread Verizon User Name & Password  (Read 839 times)

As I said in the subject, I cannot forward my ports because Verizon already has a user name and password (my dad set it up).  :panda:  So basically, when I enter 192.168.1.1 into the address bar, it pops up with a screen that looks like:

    Verizon

User Name:   _______________
Password:   _______________

Is there any other way to forward your ports?

You can only forward your ports if you get into your router settings, which requires getting into the router.

Also, it's supposed to do that. Did you even read the port forwarding tutorial on the Blockland website? It tells you possible usernames/passwords.

There's already a User Name and Password set... did you even read what I wrote in the post prior?

And I have read the thing Badspot put up... http://blockland.us/portforward/ ... what a helper :|

P.S. Can the PFConfig on PortForward.com also be used to forward your ports to Blockland's server?

What's the exact model of the router?

Oh, and did you try admin/admin or admin/password? that's usually what it is.

For the password??? My dad wouldn't be an idiot man... and I already believe I know the correct password... I'm just not sure about the User Name... and I'm not exactly sure on the password.

My router is the Verizon one that they give you or whatev...  ;[

You cannot forward your ports in any way without knowing the username and password for your router.

Try this:
User: admin
Password: password1

That is the default for most Verizon-provided FiOs router-modems.
If that doesn't work you either have a different model/using Verizon DSL or someone changed it to a non-default password.

... no one seems to be listening to my previous posts...  I said that my dad put his own user name and password onto the system - not some stupid default one.
