But, still, it is worth bringing up. That there is an obvious fault of British command. Lest we forget.
you post too much /lol

America decides to start killing everyone before they even get a chance to become dangerous, anyway. It's possible that maybe if America didn't interfere, things would run their due course :/. I don't really know what I'm talking about, but it's fun to blame America for everything anyway.  :cookieMonster:

And suddenly it all becomes clear. *facepalm*

The war in Iraq was pointless (except for corporate interests). The war in Afghanistan was started too late, and Osama Bin Laden had plenty of time to hide.

I wasn't talking about the war at all, just him looking for excuses to be a richard.

I don't doubt that the war took on too many turns and enemies to rationally commit a search for Osama and bring him to justice. But we also gave Osama the training and funding to do everything he did to us back in 1993, so technically we asked for 9/11.

As for Vietnam, it was fought by the French at first then dropped to us to finish for them, which we didn't really do anything save for piss them off more like a swarm of ants. We didn't have any business in that country at all.

We also gave money to Iraq to buy weapons to fight the Iranians.

And secretly paid the Iranians, too.

Are you a loving idiot? Fox News would never report on anything that made the war in Iraq look bad. Also, this was in the late eighties.

Wow, you're totally not a hypocrite; you've been trolling every post I've made in this board.

We actually supplied them with guns and trained their military, we didn't just give them money and say GET GUNS DOODZ. Although it did backfire horribly, I am just stating what happened.

You guys are so sensitive about the most trivial stuff

hurf my cuntry is betre than yours watch me wave my richard because histroy absolved meee heh

My history teacher told us that we owe China 300 billion dollars and since there economy is good they don't really care as much.  But if their economy goes bad while ours is too, they will be demanding that 300 billion.  This could lead to a war.

Yeah because we're not China's #1 consumer.

Communism was spreading through South-East Asia and America didn't like the "Domino effect" it was having. One country would fall, then the next, then the next and so on and so forth.

Ho Chi Minh, North Vietnam's communist leader, wanted to take over south Vietnam (from my understanding). USA saw this as an opportunity to put a stop to this Domino effect. Australia also pitched in in fear of Communism eventually spreading even more south.

EDIT:

The war was unpopular for three main reasons:

Conscription

People were getting conscripted out of nowhere. This was frowned upon.

Corruption

There was evidence that Diem (The leader of South Vietnam (I think)) was corrupt.

I forget the third one. Anyone remember it?

I REMEMBER

Its because there was unauthorized killings and rapes by US soldiers, causing anger at the troops stationed there.
