The fact that spock wants absolute power over the clan already shows it isn't a good idea. The stuffposting would be at a max as well. I say to keep the craftsmen at a good clan level, don't merge. The craftsmen is a known good clan and merging with a topic full of stuffposting is just an accident waiting to happen.
