If you have a formula, just use plug and chug to get your damn answer.  So many people don't understand that all you need to do is put numbers into formulas.

Ok now different kinds of problems
Ex.) Solve x^3-27=0
When you write your problems like that it's hard to understand. Is it x^(3-27) or (x^3)-27?

Why are you still talking? You said it was impossible, so why don't you just use your own advice?

He's factoring.  What the hell do you think?  His order of operations is fine.  I'm not terribly sure why he would give (x - y) as an exponent.

It's x to the power of 3, minus 27. Pretty easy to work that out.

I had a revelation.
Fair enough.  Even so, two of its zeros are imaginary.  That is what forgeted me up I guess.  The zeros to a2 + ab + b2 are both at imaginary numbers.

the answer to x^3-27=0 is x=3, -3+-3i sqrt3/2
or x equals three and negative three plus or minus three i times the square root of three over two
Is right, thanks fo the help.

um

How can you still not know the order of operations?

forget imaginaries.  I hate them with a passion.

Cubing:

x3-1000

What got cubed?

(x-10)

What's the trinomial?

Square the first (x)>(x2), square the last (-10)>(100), opposite sign (-)>(+), product of the two (x-10)>(-10x)

It will look like this:

(x-10)x2+10x+100

Got it?

(x-10)(x - 5 + i5sqrt(3) ) ( x-5 - i5 sqrt(3))

get the forget out you handicap.

NO.
your logics:
(x-10)^3=x^3-1000
(x-10)(x-10)(x-10)=x^3-1000
(x^2-20x+100)(x-10)=x^3-1000
x^3-10x^2-20x^2-200x+100x-1000=x^3-1000
X^3-30x^2-100x-1000=x^3-1000
-30x^2 -100x = 0
-30x^2 = -100x
-30x=100
x=-100/30

Real logic:
X^3-1000=0
X^3=1000
cube root both sides
X = 10
