You can built laptops, buy a barebones kit.

I don't see the big deal? You just got it so call the company and tell them it came broken. Then don't forget up the 2nd time, read all the instructions on all the parts, some things do fit into the wrong slots and that will kill your computer.

Thing is, i DID read the instructions... When i tried starting it up, it didnt work, and then when i brought it to the tech place, he said the MB was broken.

I called the company, and they told me to ship the motherboard back, and they'll send me a new one.

Where do you live in the Nevada Desert? The nearest place that can fix a computer is 200 miles away? >.>

I live in Junction TX, and i'll tell you, no kid in this town has a computer, or any other gaming console.

How the hell do you break the motherboard?!
Failing to install a CPU cooler correctly. D:

Dude, if you're IQ is under 80 you're handicapped (Quite literally, not figuratively).
Somebody with 69 IQ can't even dream of using a damned computer.
Plenty of the Speds in my school can type...

They're cheaper than a lot of other computer parts I've seen.I've used Dells almost since I first used a computer. (We had a Creative something before that, but it was pure stuff and didn't last us very long)Buy a Dell with a god damn Core 2 Duo processor already in it, like I did.

I built a Dell on their website with the specs of my current computer. I made my current computer for under $700. This Dell costed $1,171. Prove me loving wrong that Dell doesn't overprice you.

My Custom Built PC's Specs:
Core 2 Duo 2.8 GHz
4 GB DDR2 1066 MHz RAM
nVidia GeForce GTS 250 1 GB
74 GB HDD
1.5 TB HDD
Cost: ~$700

Dell PC's Specs:
Pentium Dual-Core 2.7 GHz
4 GB DDR2 1066 MHz RAM
ATi Radeon HD 3470 256 MB
80 GB HDD
500 GB HDD
Cost: $1174

Oh, and like I was supposed to get a Dell with a Core 2 Duo processor back in the start of 2006?

Oh yeah, I guess there are such things as barebone kits... Hmm.

IT WONT FIT IN TO THE SMALL SLOT!

I SHALL TRY TO FORCE IT, THEN SMASH IT AGAINST THE DESK UNTILL IT IS THE RIGHT SIZE TO FIT!

You're a loving dolt @ OP.

That is all.

Daaaaaaang flabio.

Wow. What the forget did you do that didn't involve reading the god damn instructions?

LAWLWUT.

Sorry, I just found your sarcasm funny.
Sorry to hear that.
JUST BUY A COMPUTER.

There's a reason why they're cheap. Because so is the company.
Dells used to be awesome when they allowed full customer customization on their PCs. Now that they do it all themselves, the computers just suck in comparison.

Or he zapped it in advanced.

@radial: My brother did that stupidly. He rubbed his fingers on the pins of a core i7 and the mobo pins. Worked for a bit but then died.

How can people be this stupid? hurr don't touch the pins on a CPU

It should be pretty obvious. It even looks like it's not supposed to be touched.
