Only a fool would go back to v8 after all of these nice updates.
v8 was fun, but not so good now.
I can only think you're on of those people.

It's hard to edit .CS.DSO files, which is what main is. (at least, in v13 it is)

Well it wasn't back in v8. I still have a copy of it.

I recall someone who went back to an older version got banned in the past.
Also, V13 is better, less bugs and more features.

Cracked as in hacked the executable and are playing the game online with each other on pirate servers or "cracked," as in, abusing old glitches to build with more than 150 bricks?

Also, I kept v8 from updating by deleting the update GUI and it worked well enough. I use it to take wire frame screenshots. Eventually they'll make it into a few RTB wiki articles.

There was a thread a while back about a v8 scandal.
Event-dentally, these people were able to play v8 without paying for blockland.
