It's really handicapped, Facebook was originally for colledge students who lost touch with friends from elemetary/secondary school. Then all the sudden a bunch of 12 year olds came in and used it as Myspace, basically.

What so handicapped about other people populating Facebook? Nothing. Colledge students and other people of the sort can still easily find friends over it.

um

I personally think those people should have stayed with Myspace, since now when my sister trys to look for someone, for example "Tom Harolds", there would be about a million Tom Harolds that range from 3 years old to 75. It's seriously becoming too crowded.

I would have to agree with you.

I don't like how all of my family is adding me on there.
We need a new social networking site.

WE SHOULD MAKE ONE.

Facebook decreases social skills. People rely on that abomination of a website to make friends with and never go outside to actually meet people. Meet REAL people, not that child enthusiast pretending to be a younger boy.

You're thinking of MySpace

Woo, I'm on Illi's personal stuff! :D
lol, yup

i've also got lalam on myspace

I have two accounts. One for my family to see, the other for what I don't want them to see.

You, sir, are a genius. I should do that.

The Facebook site itself sucks. It's so loving slow. I can't have any other windows or tabs open because it slows down my entire PC.

EDIT; I, too, only add people I know in real life.

Don't forget that when it first started it was based off of an invite only basis. SO it only grew the more people wanted to network with friends.

I have one, but only for friends IRL. Random people on the internet don't need to know what I'm doing without doing some work to somehow bypass privacy settings first.

This. Simply, I don't want people to know my phone number, what school I go to, who my IRL friends are...
Plus, I actually use Facebook to get together with friends IRL and do stuff not on the internet.
