Can someone help me to get TF2 to work? Person who does gets guest pass.

I just got it. Like five minutes ago. I updated it, and everything, but when I click the desktop icon, it loads, shows the VALVe logo with that guy with the valve in his head, then goes to the screen with Heavy shooting, Spy smoking, and it says LOADING...

But after 10 seconds of that screen, it minimizes and nothing happens after that. Task manager says that it's not responding.

Oh yeah, person that helps me get it to work gets my guest pass.
