Author Topic: can you go back to v12 if your v13?  (Read 3149 times)

setWhiteOut still works though...?
It didn't the last time I tried it.

Bleh7777 left because Blockland v3(1.0) was released.

He released a mod in RTB that changed the players name, and appearance to his. Ive seen hundreds of Blehs join my servers.

He's never bought the game.

Speaking of which, how can I report holes like those to you, since I can't pm? I assume you don't want me just telling the entire forums about them by making a topic, so... any ideas?

You could just name the topic "NO ONE BUT BADSPOT LOOK AT THIS," that way only he would see it.

Like what?

I was about to complain about forcing the players name into the server name, but I forgot how much easier it is to find my friends server's now. Besides that, I can't think of any features that were removed that I care about :D

i think blockland is almost flawless

If Blockland was advertised as flawless Badspot would literally get hundreds and hundreds of emails saying "WAH YOUR GAMES BROKEN YOU LIAR FALSE ADVERTISING /attempt2sue here's my console.log", and upon opening console.log you find that half the game files are missing because the owner thought they were useless and took up unnecessary space along with awful faulty addons enabled/used.

Ya man.
lol, jumble of text.

We lost modders because of a few changes?

Pussies.

who does this remind me of at the retail release

I was talking about setWhiteOut and setBlackOut. Those are the only two I can think of off the top of my head.

He he took the optional flood-protection feature out and made required.

Bleh777, right?

My only sorrow is KillBrick. It was useful for, say, an apartment. Someone doesn't pay up-BANG. Or, if you want to have people claim building spots. Alternatively, it could be used to delete those pesky hidden bricks, if they're named.

If someone doesn't pay for their apartment you could have the door lock itself until they do.
For building spots, there are change brick owner events and an item to do the same.
For hidden bricks I generally set them to a large emitter instead so I don't accidentally remove named supporting baseplates or whatever.
