The knight sounds like a push-over, only 5 damage?
That's 20 hits with a sword, that's pretty bad. I'd bump it up to like 15 and thrust maybe 35, but 5?

No wonder everyone would be playing as the Mage.

Wow, just reading the bottom about people have 4600 HP, that's ridiculous.
Do the math.

4600÷5=920... 920 hits with a sword to kill someone?

That would take like 5 minutes, and think if they were a ranger or mage, they'd be so far away you would have no change.

I like the ideas of everything else except the extremely underpowered Knights.

Unless he has a whole load of HP at first though.

SECOND EDIT:
Ok, I just read the damage scaling thing, but even at level 1 it's weak. Unless knights scale really fast.

it does about 4 - 8 damage in blockquest, with a chance of 15 crit (at level one)

at level 20 its like... 100 - 150 with 300 crit.

I've done the balancing, if you think about it the wizard can only cast fireball every about 2.5 seconds, and If you've ever swung a sword its very fast.

I know the sword is fast, and I like that if the damage is done right.
but at level one I mean, if everyone's level one, the Knight starts off at an unfair advantage.

If all people start off with 100 HP and...

Knight does 5 damage MELEE
Archer does 7 damage RANGED
Mage does 35 damage RANGED

I may have the numbers wrong but the Knight needs a better boost at early levels.

Now if he starts hitting like 250-500 per hit later on, that's another story.

@chesse, the rpg isn't even close to being done, if you mean the Dev server, then random times.

Proog, the mage can cast the fireball every about 2.5 seconds, compared to how fast you can shoot the bow and swing the sword...


Ok off-topic:

Is there anyway to pass arguments to the MessageBoxYesNo function with commandtoClient?

It would be nice if it was: commandtoClient(%cl, 'MessageBoxYesNo', %title, %str, %function, %ARGS!!!);
but nooo....

The group system works (getting people in an actual group perfectly) except for this problem.

Well off-topic of my arguing, can we get some more screenshots?
I'd like to see some other areas and classes.

Also your Menu Icon is a bit out of style with blockland, might wanna change that.

Well, for the Energy bar at the bottom I definatly will fix,

but do you think I should round those numbers in the display, or in the actual damage they do?

Also, the group system is working, I even have splitting Exp and stuff working.

(And group chat)


I sense exploit with the whole Stealth thing.

Think if someone ranges you like 10 times with their energy shot whatsitsname.
And then stealth around you and attack you from behind, you'd have no chance.

If this can actually work I'm being an archer.  :cookieMonster:

I can use my Mana Potion Item as Energy Potion Item if you want. :D

Yea, I'm not going to ask people to put in work until I know I will follow through.

Well I already made a Lesser Mana and Lesser Health plus Greater Mana and Greater Health.
