I got things mixed up.

I saw that it wasn't the real Ephi due to lack of mod shield, and let them know I knew before I figured out who was behind it.

And, as my luck would have it, they were stupid enough to try and use Roblox as an insult, but still smart enough to know I was about to figure out exactly who the forget they were. (The "No suck nick/channel" came after I typed in /whois ephialtes, not after typing my response)

So, look out for an elitist troll pretending to be Ephialtes. That's all.

should have switched to the rtb tab and check the chat to see if someone changed their name.

Smart people would use an IRC client outside of Blockland, temporarily leave #RtB, go to #gobeddlygook change it there, and then come back. Not that I know from experience.
