You must have typed it wrong. Try again.

I have had that problem before. I think it's because another center/bottom/chat msg was to close to it...

No it's something I made to stop the random numbers thing when another mod besides events tried to message the minigame, client etc. In the first version of the stop sometimes it wouldn't process every time. I fixed it up, to my knowledge I've fixed it completely, seeing as I made a relay loop centerprint me with a variable's value every 33 milliseconds...

Oh, OK, thanks :3

Personally, i love VCE. VCE adds a lot of new possibilities.

I have V4 of VCE.

Better than V5.

You're just wrong and lazy.

Because variables start out as nothing. You have to set it to 0 first.

Please stop thinking you know a lot more about variables that I do. I know how to do things right, and I know when there is a problem.

Especially when the event does things differently without changing anything.

I can't PM and Steam doesn't work on this so get on Skype or sommat, Blob.

Are you really that ignorant? It's been clearly stated that the issue has been fixed.

Anyone who thinks v4 is superior to v5 is stupid, simple as that. v5 has functions with arguements, heaps more ways to modify variables, multiple variable checking, displaying values without stuff like "gold is 5", cleaner code and plenty more. It's not even loving hard, the manual clearly explains how to use it.

MANUALS ARE FOR SQUARES

Or you could get to the point where you stop eventing huge complex systems, and start scripting with fewer, simpler events.

(Like, my addExp event in my rpg that handles leveling and stats and all of that crap).

But I'm catching on because my clan members have forced me to  :cookieMonster:
Heheheh.

For those who are reprimanding those who don't like VCE, just forget them. Let them use v4 vars and be totally limited. Learning v5 vars will open up a whole new way to event, and it is totally worth it, but if you are stuck in the past, good luck, because making something up-to-date will be much harder without VCE. (And I'm sure some of you talented ones can, but still)

Simple and limited < complex and versatile. Yes you can solve simple math with only addition and subtraction, but you can do so much more with trigonometry. You just have to learn it first.

No, I know for a fact I know almost nothing about variables.

So? VCE has simpler functions for those who aren't lazy bums and those who don't even bother to read the manual. There should be like a script so that when you open the event menu the first time right after dling VCE, the manual opens automatically.
