Author Topic: I think I have Ringworm  (Read 2819 times)

I was downstairs with my parents and my wrist started throbbing(I messed it up earlier in wrestling) so I look at my wrist and I see a little ring on my wrist. Stealthy, I go upstairs and put hand sanitiser on my hands and rub a little on my arms. I just took a look at it right now an its like 1/2 mm of the surface. I think it might just be eczema, but you can never be to safe. So I will keep a close eye on it. (If I spelled something wrong, It's because I'm typing 1 handed)

Take your arm, and throw it away, get another arm put it on!

I recommend stabbing it with a knife and prying it out.

Lol, your doctor would appreciate that.

Or just grab a knife and cut the arm off. And then get another arm!

Just a question but what is a Ringworm? I never heard of it BTW.

Ringworm is a fungal infection of the skin in humans and domestic animals such as sheep and cattle. Fungi are organisms that survive by eating plant or animal material. Those that cause parasitic infection (dermatophytes) feed on keratin, the material found in the outer layer of skin, hair, and nails. These fungi thrive best on skin that is warm and moist.

It is estimated that in current times, up to twenty percent of the population is infected by ringworm or one of the other dermatophytoses. It is especially common among people who play sports, wrestling in particular; wrestlers with ringworm may be disqualified.

Might want to try and get treated if it is, in fact, ringworm?

"warm and moist"

All fungi go for that environment

Then, get out of the moist and warm area, and move into a cold and dry area.
