Or more like a hunk of bread that caused the energy beam to throw particles around and created a beam that over heated the system and shut it down, and also kicked one of the giant magnets out of place.

So, is it a warning from the future, or just some freak show?

Q. Do you think the shuttle is the most complex technology created by us, or this?

Riots answer: The rocket is just a series of wires and a primitive way to lift our selves off the planet. This project on the other hand is trying to find the two God particles that created the Universe.

The birds are out to get us!

Someone theorized that the particle it makes goes back in time and forgets stuff up before it's made.

Interesting new method Green Peace are using here..

If we do find the God particles I hope we dont experiment on them by smashing them into each other and create a big bang inside the Universe.

What if our Universe was created that way, and those were the particles warning us about the big bang?

The universe was created by the birds bread, end of story.

I think the Apollo 11 mission was man's greatest technological accomplishment. The fact that we put two men on the surface of another planet 238,000 miles away with less computational power than my graphing calculator with perfect safety and precision is amazing to me. There were just so many places it could've gone wrong, to pull off a process that long from JFK saying we could put a man on the moon before the decade was out to Aldrin, Armstrong, and Collins splashing down again on the surface of the earth safely nine years later, that is mind-boggling.

It was amazing, but today it would be much easier. We can use a space station as a checkpoint to the moon and back. Plus with the new plasma engine coming up we can reach Mars in one month than eight, and the moon in minutes.

Link, I must read of this "Plasma Engine"

Last time I watched the science channel I saw the guy who was making this engine, he said it'll cut the flight to Mars to two months D:

I wonder how long that'd be to the moon.
