-What software you need, a link to purchase that software

-Where to submit the finished product

-Any other useful information

Submit the finished product (if it turns out good, mind you) in the Add-ons section.

That link is to a outdated version of blender, is there any newer one?

Also I need some basic information on how to script the object I created.

That's the only one I know of. http://www.blender.org/ go to education and help tab to learn how to model.
