Roman legionnaires had no leg coverings, wore either mail or segmented chest armor, and a plate skirt. They also had a large rectangular shields and a gladius for combat. The pila were used as throwing weapons before a charge.

Yeah, go with what Inv3rted said, they don't have leg armor or arm armor.
