I can't wait to get employed and save up for a new pc.

getting a job is so overrated.
Which is why I shall start my own business as a personal chef.
My mom said she has an expo to host and she is going to pay me $700 dollars for cooking at that event :)
which should be enough to get a $500 PC build and extra for headset, keyboard, monitor, and mouse.

If you have a Mac computer and have programs that aren't compatible with it, just partition the hard drive and buy a copy of Windows. Macs barely have any viruses, and they are very rare. Windows doesn't even need antivirus software if you're not an idiot.

I knew that, I wasn't using it as a point against Windows. I like Mac and Windows equally.

I personally have nothing against Macs, only the fact that my mom keeps bitching and moaning about how her windows laptop sucks when it has less than 256 MB of RAM, 1 GHz Pentium M and an intel integrated graphics worse than mine.

I used by grandfather's laptop once, which had Windows ME. It was about 1.5" thick.

My grandfather's old dell wasn't too great either. Thank God he now has a nice Toshiba laptop with Windows 7. Even then he still comes over every Sunday because he forgets how to make a title in Microsoft Word :|

Also, I was talking with a friend about Windows 7 (she had no idea what it was) and she asked me what it was, and before I could say anything some random kid behind me goes, "It is the best thing ever!"

That's odd, the funniest thing that happened to me all day was when I was looking at the lunch menu during World History, and my teacher asked me why I was so interested in my laptop's screen instead of the discussion. I said "the lunch menu", everyone laughed and he said "Well, at least you're honest."
