I've done it both ways
A) used that persons email when buying it
B) Buy the key as new, then logged on once to confirm its ID#
    -i guess technically against the terms, but when the 2k's were still available to buy it was fun being more specific on what the prize is when contests are on.


but offering up a key because your bored of the game isnt the same as buying one for someone.
that is one less sale for badspot to earn on.

in fact why dont we all just get together and recycle our keys. the entire first 5k keys can just be given away to the next generation blockland users when we get bored. then they can pass it on to the 10-15k'ers

I've raised the issue with Badspot, The official policy is that keys are non-transferrable which is exactly what you were doing. This is not a point you can argue. Whether he wants to allow these key competitions on the forums is up to him, but until he says otherwise I'm just going to be locking the blatantly infringing ones.

That's great. Now people can go ahead and try to guess others keys. Why don't you make one that automatically finds your ID if you put your key in

I assume you're not aware that that part of your key is literally useless and ONLY used to calculate your BL_ID? The formula isn't hard to calculate at all, and attempts at cracking the rest of the key formula have all failed. The system is secure, even if the first 5 digits aren't. There are still 12 digits which are completely secure.

Try to behave. I didn't lock your thread because I have some sort of problem with you (I honestly have no idea who you are, another "hater" as far as I'm concerned) it's just because it blatantly breaks the agreement when you bought the key and therefore has no place on these forums. If I'm abusing my power by doing this, send Badspot an email and explain the whole thing to him but sitting there making infantile and sarcastic remarks isn't going to do anyone any favors.
