Author Topic: Ephi hacked me!  (Read 10738 times)

He was an idiot, and now he's possibly learned a valuable lesson about web security - and it was totally free, too. How generous am I?

Very.

The way I see it, Ephialtes was helping Kalphiter by showing him a dangerous exploit before it got into the wrong hands.

Ephialtes was helping Kalphiter
No.

If something more serious happened, there would be evidence that I didn't do it.

My brown townogy, which got put into the other thread, comes into play again here.
This is very much like the time I left my keys in the door when I unlocked the house, luckily the friendly Jehovah's Witnesses came and gave me free advice and crazy books, and my keys back. In this case, it's a fine brown townogy, Ephi being the religious fellow, and not some burglar who would steal all your valuables if you left the key in the door.
Also, there might not be evidence, you've seen a few handicaps spam goatse and such recently, perhaps you're as much a butthurt friend as them.

That's my evidence

Why hasn't ephi banned Kalphiter yet for talking back?

That's my evidence
Note how he doesn't show his actual IP.  But I'm on Ephi's side.

Wait, where?

Note how he doesn't show his actual IP.  But I'm on Ephi's side.
Note how he used a dedicated server he owned to do this

I also forgot to mention, Kalphiter, you don't need evidence.  He's admitting to it.

But if anyone who wouldn't admit this, and for something more serious, there would always be evidence.

Global Moderators cannot ban.
They have rights to delete posts/topics, move topics/posts, and edit posts (say like in the Help section.)
There may be more I am not aware of.

I can find the standard permissions for a global moderator if you want.
