That video card is overpriced at the moment.
This.

They really should lower it down for holidays and after.

just because its not the top one on the nvidia model list dont mean it sucks lol
any 8 series+ is well good enough for the average gamer.

most of you cant even tell the difference when using higher high end parts. its for a different type of hardware hobbyist

That card is in fact, God himself compared to my video cards.

My laptop is my best computer and it has an Intel(R) GMA 950.

I'd check my PC to see what card it has but it can't even get past booting up from several viruses.

And yes, Ethan is correct. I'm not just getting 300 dollars to spend on all upgrades, overall I might get around 600-700.

Oh, well that changes everything. If you only had $300 to spend. You could play like Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 maxed out, and enable 3D sounds :D

None of your integrated graphics beats my laptop's ATi Mobility Radeon 7500.
At least, I wish. :(

600 dollars for a computer that can run crysis with no lag
EXCLUDING monitor, keyboard, mouse, and any other zany accesories you like
just google 500 dollar PC build

Just because it's not the best does not mean it sucks. It's better than a 9800 GT. You're an idiot.

I compare all cards to the best.  In that case, it sucks, as I said.  That doesn't make me an idiot.

Compared to the, say, 7800GT, it's great.  But I didn't compare it to that.

Sorry that I don't compare everything exactly the way you do.  Maybe you could realize that I simply have a differing opin-Oh yeah, we've had this discussion, and it never works out for you.  Never mind.

Haha, my old 98 PC has an "Unknown Brand" VGA. Beat that, it only runs in 16 colors (even point and click games like MYST or SPQR have massive framerate rape).

I have multiple old computers that can only run in 4 colors that run DOS.

I also want a new graphics card, mine is not too great. I suppose It'd be better if I asked in this topic what I should get rather than making a whole new one.

Well if anyone could find me a good graphics card that won't break my computer and will run well I would be grateful. (Price is not an issue)

I have a Dimension E520 running XP, never modified.
