Best Buy is now awesome.

I just saw watching television that Best Buy is offering a sale through Friday Saturday, December 12th, that caught my eye and sounds awesome. My dad was talking just yesterday about doing like the exact same thing; we wandered around Target and Wal-Mart comparing prices.

I then went on the site looking for details and saw yet another great deal.

First deal. - Includes:

- 42" Panasonic VIERA Plasma HDTV
- Xbox 360 Elite
- Avatar Game

All for around $700. It was originally like $1100.

Second deal. - This is the one we are considering. Includes:

- 46" Sony LCD HDTV
- PlayStation 3
- Any PS3 game
- Any BluRay movie to play on your PS3

All for $950. Normally would be almost $2,000.

I feel like a loving salesman but these are great deals IMO.

The PS3 is probably a better deal.  4 more inches of screen, a system that is higher quality (Just to let you know, not a single PS3 game aside from Uncharted 2 has used more than half the PS3's power.), a game that isn't stuff, and a movie.

I do own the XBox though, so I am not a fanboy.

imo, Bestbuy has a bigger variety of stuff, but it's all overpriced compared to other shops like Futureshop. I'm not sure about other places, but it's like that for Canada, where I live.

Same here Cookie. I actually agree BestBuy has a variety of stuff, like you said, it's all overpriced. But most of the time I can't find what I'm looking for there.
