Author Topic: Cool weapon idea  (Read 1087 times)

Two player side scrolling co op game what kinds of different weapons should each one be holding? Creative ideas are most often the best! I'll put up a poll after I see a few good ideas.

Edit: and I know it would be cool to have weapons from other games but I don't want those in there for originality and copyright issues.

Don't you need a little creativity to make games?

How about one player has a portal gun that shoots through a specific wall type.  The other player has a regular gun, but is blocked by all wall types.  The first player has to position the portals so that the second player can shoot the targets behind the walls.

It's just an idea I've had in my head for a while.

The first player could have a sword that, when the fire button is held, reflects projectiles.

Then the second player could have much less health, but uses weapons that have a much greater range.

Encouraged teamwork = Challenging multiplayer

Indeed I'm just seeing what kinds of weapons you people think would be cool in a side scrolling game. I already have a few I think might work, getting different opinions doesn't hurt.

That could make a really cool flash game!

The health thing your talking about is probably going to be like that in the game :D

GRAPPLE HOOKS  :cookieMonster:

I do love those <3

A weapon that fires a straight line of electricity, and when it hits something it homes in on them until the mouse is released / ammo runs out.
