Honestly, you seriously expect you won't get banned? Really? Do you know how loving annoying it is to constantly have random people come on a server and go "can i have admin?". I ban on sight of people like that just because I have gotten sick of loving arguing with them.

Person: can i have admin?
Person: plz?
Me: No.
Person: plzzz
Me: No.
Person: why?
Me: Because I said so.
Person: thats not a reason

I then proceede to kicking/banning them.

The same exact thing happens at least once if not twice a day on my server, it's funny that they do exactly what you suggested above.

I was thinking of making an add-on for my server that warns them about this rule the first time they use the phrase "admin," and giving them the option to send their message anyway. But then I decided that this would be mostly a waste of time, and that I should just install one of those rules add-ons.

Just dl the rule mod, it comes with default rules the specifically say NO ASKING FOR ADMIN. Though on my server most people tend to ignore it

To convince them, I try to do something for them, but since I'm terrible at building, they just ignore me and call it a "basic house" It's so loving annoying.

You know what else is annoying? Asking for admin.

I usually ban anyone asking for admin. You need to loving learn to have some patience and how to kiss up to an admin.

They both hate each other. That's why I try to keep them separate when my server is up or else admin wars happens.

and what, you enver drew the connection between asking for admin and being banned. Maybe you should have realised you weren't gonna achieve anything by getting banned a lot.

That's generally a number one rule on most servers, I often have it written twice on my Rules so people don't miss it, except for the people who don't read the rules, which would be a large handful of people.
