To many DMs, not that much building going on

If you want more building servers, start your own. If you give it a good theme and run it sensibly then you'll get a lot of players.

Turn off weapons and vehicles and people suddenly don't spawn them *shock*

Wrong strategy.

Host something unique, and host something with quality, and you'll get people on your server.  I've gotten full servers by just starting to build something, and allowing others to build something with the same theme.  They won't leave the server, and others will join, and tada, you have a full server.

I believe it's quite the opposite- there's so many freebuilds and RPs, but barely any (T)DMs. And even then, most active TDMs are those stupid "dirt" ones. What happened to the classic unchangeable DM maps? I only see about two of those active at any given time.

No tdm is that good. Most of them have delay lag when shooting and the weapons usually never damage the player. Like with that blood mod, I shoot someone and no blood comes out half the time so I don't know if I hurt them. Most freebuilds are filled with spam. Most people either build in their clan's dedi, their own server, or single player. I think we need more dynamic servers that are different then every day tdms
