it truthfully is...think of it more like getting an extention rather than a membership...

Just downloading the game gives you demo which only allows you to have 150 brick count and only offline play.

You can however still download add-ons that other people create for no charge.

Buying the "Membership" is buying the full game with all its features at a 1 time cost.

Buying the Game lets you make more bricks and most important, play online.
