Hey everyone, it's come time for the end of first semester of my school year and our final project in my Digital Art & Design class is a slideshow combining all of the works we've done throughout the semester. Every image in the video was created/edited in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator CS3/CS4 (although I have more images that I've made, I didn't feel like including them in the slideshow due to the fact that they need work/are not finished yet).

Digital Art & Design

Also, yes, that is me in a few pictures, and I couldn't care less what you think of my appearance, so don't bother saying anything along the lines of "You're ugly" because F.Y.I., I have a girlfriend, we've been together for a little over a year now. And yes, if you weren't looking hard enough to see my name in the first picture, that is my name. Not gonna repeat it here because that would be redundant.

Otherwise, please, enjoy the video, and remember, probably 95% of these are school assignments so they may not look freaking amazing, they were mostly practical assignments (photo retouching, pop art, self portraits, etc.). If you have any questions pertaining to the video or my Digital Art & Design class, do not hesitate to ask.

EDIT: Before people start giving me suggestions for how to improve these, do not. They are done and I do not plan to edit them any further. This thread is only to display my work and for comments.

I'm pretty handy with Gimp

<3 Gimp.

In ways, I like it more than Photoshop.
Illustrator is hard as hell to figure out, but worth it once you know how to do stuff.

I agree with the Illustrator part, but luckily we had a teacher demonstrate how to use it for us. :P

My schools computers had photoshop installed so I brought in my flashdrive, copied and... you know...

That was awsome! :D

Thanks.

So you stole it. Does it work on your computer? I'd be surprised if it did, especially if it was liscenced to your school.
