Author Topic: I port forwarded EXACTLY like how I used to, but this time, it's not working...  (Read 467 times)

It's probably not a modem problem. I haven't changed anything in the server options either. I'd really appreciate help.

How do you know it isn't working?
Has your local IP changed? (Dynamic IPs only (DHCP), shouldn't happen in Static IPs)

I asked my friend to play BL with me, and after I started the server he said it's dead. I waited a few hours to see if anyone else would come in, but no luck.

Hmmm... Come to think if it, since I last played BL, I installed Hamachi. Maybe since it creates a custom IP, BL takes it for default. I'll try and get rid of "Network 2" considering it was generated from Hamachi. I'll let you know if I have any luck.

I removed the network thing, but had no luck in the server, sadly. Any ideas?

Check that you are still trying to forward for your correct IP - In Windows go into command prompt and type ipconfig, find the IP you are using and make sure that that is the one which you are using your roter to forward to.

Before you said anything, I did exactly that. I'm having my friend take a look and see if the server's dead right now.

It works. Thank you very much for the help.
