Author Topic: Graphing calculator programming.  (Read 1604 times)

Does anyone else program their Texas Instruments graphing calculators? I recently got into and I'm really enjoying it.

Quick question though, is it practical to write Assembly on the calculator, or do you pretty much need a desktop program?

I've never tried to learn how to - I only ever download stuff.

One of my friends can do this like crazy, he's made a ton of stuff.

I've thought about learning it.

i wrote a program that derived functions for you once, gone now though.

I wrote a program that calculated slope and y-intersect from two points on a line.

Basic, but it save me unnecessary work like a mother.

Someone program a Blockland-like game C:

I'm working on an adaptive rock paper scissors game.

Useful, I need to program sommat like that when I get mine.

May get a TI-nSpire (just cause) with the TI-83 cover (for programming, the point of my purchase :P).

That would help me on my homework a lot :O

I'd repost the code if it was shorter or I had a calculator-to-computer link cable.

derivatives a pretty easy anyway.

Where can one learn how to do such programming? I own a Texas Instruments TI-80something Silver Edition, and I assume that's the type of calculator you're talking about.

yeah i know it was just a test to see if i could program it rather than something i'd actually use.

If it's a silver edition it's probably a TI-84
