Ugh, I hate those movies where it ends, and then has thirty four seconds of black.

Merhawk, ugh.

Or they have a crappy song at the end, the video fades to black, and the song plays all the way through.

Ah, YES.

I learned to shorten songs in WMM very well... I can get the best-fitting parts out of a 6 minute song for a 1 to 2 minute video and make it sound like it wasn't altered at all, to someone that hasn't heard it before :D

Nawww, laziness and unnecessary skill > finding a good audio program

Yes, laziness and unnecessary skill > audacity.

No seriously, what are you saying with that self-quote?
I know, I know, I should get Audacity. But I still like using WMM.

I like doing stuff the easy way.

Does WMM have a cuttol, to cut a video into two or an audio file into seperate parts, to tkae what you want only such as.

crap crap crap cool stuff crap crap coolstuff crap

Then to cut the crap and make cool stuff cool stuff?

Like hereis the video ----- i want threeof those butit is one so i cut it into two then three, and so on.

I've never actually used WMM, but I'm positive it has cutting of clips. If you couldn't do that, it would kinda defeat the purpose of it being a nonlinear editing program.

I remember I made a video for english class last year and so did the rest of the class, mine being decent with a semi-professional mini-dv camera and tripod and green screen, Mine had a lot of effort with acting as well and costumes and props, everyone else in the class used like a stuffty 4 megapixel camera, no costumes, horrible acting like friends in the background laughing and shaking the camera around, and of course no props and bad story line, AND OF COURSE the whole thing was a popularity contest so my efforts where wasted when I came near last.

Mac iMovie? :)

Don't have a mc, don't want a mac..

I hope so..

Sum this up as "Don't use WMM or iMovie".

What else should I use other than windows movie maker? That's what I've been told is the best, but I don't really like it.
