Wii or PS3

It doesn't seem "kiddier," just more of a fun creation. I want to play the new Super Mario for it, and Little Big Planet.

Why would it be on Wii?

I'm not that into war games anyway, which is seems to be a common game category for PS3s.

Gran Turismo, LBP, Motorstorm, Uncharted 2 (Not a war game, technically), etc.

Get the PS3. The Wii has SSBB, but if you played SSBM a lot, it get's old fast. I would sell my Wii if I wasn't waiting for Monster Hunter 3 to come out... :3

I have an Xbox 360 and a Wii and still play my Wii a lot. Today I played Wii Sports and SSBB with friends and it was still as fun as it always has been.

I practically loaned my Wii to the senior lounge last year. We played SSBB every day and even up to the days before graduation it never got old.

Just because Nintendo didn't create it doesn't mean they can't sell it. It's like how Sony sold BluRay licenses to other companies like Panasonic or Sylvia.

we bought a wii a long while ago thinking it was going to kick ass.

We got bored of it and moved it to the room where all of our old stuffty consoles are. now theres a PS3 there, with no games except for little big planet.

I can give you 3 good reasons to get a Wii over a PS3:

1. Super Smash Bros.

2. Zelda

3. The PS3 controller sucks so much that it ruins the game play experience all together.

4. PSN

5. Driving games are easy to control

Some people say the PS3 is better because it has better graphics, but do graphics even matter? Sure it makes it look cooler, or more real, but it's the Gameplay that makes the game. And PS3 can play Blu-ray and that is cool, but I'm going to go with the wii.

It is just my opinion but I think you should definitely get a PS3 instead of a Wii. The games are waaay better. I have a Wii and I think it's boring. I also don't like the Nintendo-games (anymore).

Again, that is just an opinion.
