Diggy (and many other hosts/low ID's) feel like they are better than everyone, either because they got the game earlier, or because they can actually host a server... what the hell?
Sure these people could aquire certain skills like scripting, or add-on making etc. but so can everyone else, the only differance is that the other people don't have the same opportunities that these hosts/low ID's have.
The perfect example, I'm sure you all know him, Diggy. The host of a Metropolis City RP.
So I go into his server, in the wee hours of the morning, go about my own buisness of typing /help and getting familiar with the commands. I notice that I had been on his server previously and had a criminal record, which I needed to clear. For the next few hours I worked my way up to 1k by mining, running back and forth from the mine to the bank, unfortunatly there was a low ID there that felt he could do anything he wanted and continuously killed me everytime I went back to the bank. After I finally got my 1k I made my way back to the bank (after peering around every corner) and walked up to the teller machine. Withdrawing my 1k and in the middle of typing /reset I was killed by the low ID AGAIN, so I left the server for the evening.
Several hours later I came back and earned my 1k, reset my account, and became a doctor. Once I spawned I instantly noticed that I was outside... where was the hospital? I curiously ask someone on the server if there was a hospital to spawn to or a hospital that was under construction, and they replied "no". Of course all the lots were taken and I noticed a small plot of land with just a tiny pond in it, owned by Diggy. Now when a job doesn't have a building to spawn in, and it's spawn is just thrown out into the street, shouldn't a building be made to have a spawn for an important job?
So I ask Diggy if I PURCHASE the lot or any other in the general area, and get no response. I ask again, and still no response. So I give up, walk around a bit, and decide to up my EXP. There have been fires around the city and my friend joined, so I ask the server if you get EXP for healing people as a doctor, but even from the entire server, no response. I decide to try it anyway, my friend walks over to the fire, and takes damage, so I heal him. After 10min or so pass, I lose hope, and decide to ask the host since earlier I was ignored by the rest of the server.
Now this is the 2nd question I asked Diggy, I asked him if the doctor got exp from healing people. Diggy answers my question and FREAKS OUT, saying he hates people like me that ask questions all the time just for the heck of it... WHAT!? I asked 2 questions! What the hell is wrong with this guy!? So he continues to insult me and I call him a "lazy host", what kind of host doesn't take care of the people that joint thair server to play their mod? A LAZY ONE. Of course I explain this and give my reason, and get kicked from his server.
I know you're thinking "Wow he wrote all this because he got kicked from a server? Haha what a loser!"
And if you thought that, you're wrong.
I may have a higher ID (13k) but I've been playing BlockLand for over 3 years. I'm sick of dealing with people that think they are better than everyone else, no matter what you do, or who you are, you are just as good as everyone else, and everyone deserves the same respect.
Another thing I've been seeing a serious problem with hosts, is that when someone asks a question, they get mad and kick them because they think it's a "nooby question". Everyone starts somewhere. I'm sure Diggy and all of the other low ID's had NO CLUE what they were doing.
I'm not saying there are some people that get frustrating, but the only reason they are like that, is because they have had to ask people over and over, get the same stuffty response and kick, read sketchy tutorials all the time, and go back to the server to get called a noob.
They do NOT deserve this treatment.
