Do you Facebook?

I created a small Blockland Facebook App (http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=37539.0) to display a random brick on your profile with the name under it. I think about 9 people ended up using it. Most people were embarrassed about people knowing they played Blockland. Facebook updated its apps and broke mine and I never fixed it so it doesn't work anymore. I don't know how you'd get over the whole embarrassing aspect of "playing with Lego" at the >14 age ranges.

I find it ironic that parents refuse to allow their children from using Facebook, yet they don't mind their child using a lightly-regulated forum.

What sort of implementation to Blockland with Facebook is being decided?

i tried facebook once. its a good idea but i got extremly annoyd the million of invites from every person to play this app and play that app. and being offered items in games i didnt even subscribe to.
its a spamfest and i didnt feel like the 100 messages a day for nothing were any fun.

Go to your notifications, there should be a button that says something along the lines of, "Block future notifications from this app." next to the invite, I've done it on pretty much all of them and I get no more requests.

Im with technology and all unlike my parents but i find social networking to be a geeky time waster. Take this example for instance: My parents went to a baseball game and came back talking about a guy sitting 2 or 3 rows from the front doing nothing but updating his MySpace and Twitter page. He barly watched the game, they said. He just sat there taking photos and uploading them to these site with his iPhone.

So no i do not use Facebook, nor do i plan on in the future unless there is some immediate call for an account.

I would never use Facebook. Facebook is evil, like Myspace and Steam. They destroy the future of this world and are spawns of the darkest depths of hell.

Plus, I have no reason to have it, I have no friends outside of Blockland.

I get on like once or twice a week, I used to get on a lot until I discovered how pointless it is and how annoying my friends are when they use it.
