Do you use Facebook?

Parents won't let me.
Facebook sucks! (I don't want an account.)
Yeah, I'm on it sometimes.
I use Facebook ALL THE TIME.
I use MySpace or some other social network.
Parents won't let me, but when I am older I probably will.

Google and Facebook shouldn't be verbs.

I have a Facebook, barely on because it's quite boring.
Maybe you should Google why they are used as verbs.

Google is a verb actually. God forbid Bing become a verb.

When you say you'll go google that later on it sounds normal, like here;
"I'll go google up that topic later on and read some info."
When you say you'll go bing it later on it sounds like you're a handicap;
"I'll go bing up that topic later on and read some info."

When you say you'll go bing it later on it sounds like you're a handicap; and you are a handicap:
"I'll go bing up that topic later on and read some info."
Fixed

Agreed, Bing should die in a really big hole.

Ah, I thought google meant the same thing as googleplex, but after Googling 'define:google', I found I was wrong. Just got those two mixed up. Facebook still sounds wierd though. I wonder if one day they will be taught in English class as official verbs.

Sorry for getting off topic.

What's a Google?

"Googol" is the mathematical term for a 1 followed by 100 zeros. The term was coined by Milton Sirotta, nephew of American mathematician Edward Kasner, and was popularised in the book, "Mathematics and the Imagination", by Kasner and James Newman. Google's play on the term reflects the company's mission to organise the immense amount of information available on the web.
