Author Topic: Adobe CS4 Master Collection :D  (Read 888 times)

I just got Adobe CS4 Master Collection today. I found it for a great price (originally $2500, got it for $950) on a website with such products for students at greatly discounted prices and it arrived today. This includes every program in the Creative Suite 4 family, plus a couple third-party ones. Here's a list of the major programs:

-InDesign
-Photoshop
-Illustrator
-Flash
-Dreamweaver
-Fireworks
-Contribute
-After Effects
-Premiere Pro
-Soundbooth
-OnLocation
-Encore

Needless to say, I'm insanely happy right now. :D

Found it or pirated it?

The latter of which is most likely.

Why would you say it, if it was needless to say?

Stupid purchase, I doubt you'll actually use the programs for anything worthwhile.

Incorrect, my friend and I are starting our own business, for which we will be using every single one of those programs. Except maybe Contribute, but at least I have it in case I need it in the future.

What about when that business crashes and burns, in this economy?

Tsk tsk Fox, don't be such a pessimist.

Huge companies are dying, so I doubt two sixteen year-olds can do it. Good luck, anyway.

By the way student licenses are generally non-commercial use. Meaning trying to use it for a profit is illegal  :cookieMonster:

Not this one, it was even approved by Adobe themselves for commercial use. I tend to think of these things ahead of time.

We've already put together a client list of friends/friends of friends; currently totals ~17-20 people.

And what exactly is this business? Have you actually done any research to see if people will purchase your product/services?

Just because, Little jimmy and your mother said they'll purchase your stuff, doesn't mean you'll make money.

Yes, we have, and they're willing to pay very good money for it. And I didn't say "Little Jimmy or my mother," I said friends/friends of friends, and our business hasn't even officially started yet. We do application programming, graphic design, movie editing, web design/publication, and animation. What's your problem, dude? You seem to hate my very existence for some reason unknown to me.

I don't hate you exisiting or anything like that, I'm just saying, I doubt you will make any money at all, kids always say they're going to do this and that and never end up doing it/succeeding.

I see your concern, and that will not be a problem, we don't have the kind of friends who would say something like that and then go back on their deal. Our website is already about 85% completed and the friend of mine with whom I'm running this business has his own server, so no need to worry about webhosting expenses. I've even told a couple teachers of mine about it and they say they may have some interest.
