Where can I get a grapple hook, that spear on a chain sounds rigged.

Also did you try setting the zombie boss on fire before you attack him?
There are a few gasoline containers if you don't have a torch (or a flamethrower).

Just keep attacking the zombie till he dies.
He's like the 2nd boss anyway so he's not hard.
