Blockland wont launch

Im brother is trying to get blockland on his computer and when he boots it up it crashes right away. What is causing this?

Program doesnt run long enough to write a console log

Gforce FX 5900 video card, AMD Anthlon with 512 MGs of ram just finished fresh install of XP service pack 3
Crashes if you run dedicated server as well as the normal game
