I read the title of this forum and Googled "Torque" and discovered that it is a game engine that costs almost $1,000 to get. Is this so? I have to pay almost $1k to make add-ons?

Even though this has been answered many, many times, you make 3D models using a modeling program. Two famous ones are Blender (Free, but many key binds to remember) and MilkShape ($20 or so, but user-friendly).

Personally, I suggest Milkshape for starters. Move on to Blender later. Even though you can't save with the trial version of Milkshape, it has a far lower learning curve and can help you get the basics down.

Thanks guys, I think I got it down. I already know how to program with Visual Basic, so I will see if that helps me on Blender :). Locking.
