exterior looks like a new house, interior looks like a hobo's hide outIt looks nice though. I suggest that you match exterior with interior.
HL2's texture base doesn't really have anything for squeaky clean wood floors and plaster walls/ceilings.I guess that means I need to dip into custom textures. I'd disagree with the exterior looking like a new house, between the grimy windows and the darker stained brick it at least looks a little dilapidated.
Make the windows the breakable glass.

I don't find them to be much of a pain, just make one unit thick windows with the breakable texture, select one, ctrl t, func_breakablesurf, rinse, repeat.
