Author Topic: Desert RPG [Image heavy!]  (Read 2691 times)

Anybody remember the Desert RPG that I hosted a while ago? No? Well, it was an RPG in which you got food and water to sate your hunger and thirst (respectively); you also got junk which was turned into material, the money for the server. It let you build and buy stuff.

So, over the last two days, I've re-done it to be in VCE. It's quite nice. Anyway, pics!

Kino Villiage (where you spawn):

Well, that was long.

Feel free to rate x/10. I also have a server up now! (Mags's [New]Desert RPG [Uses VCE now :D])

The camp looks weird because it's pretty much built off boxes. The houses look terrible as if you didn't even try. The hunger control was built up by a bunch of 1x1 flats which is spam. Then there are random boxes out in the desert which seems useless and not needed. You usually don't see scattered boxes in the desert in real life either.

The overall build isn't very good.

Did you use chronos cashmod, and if so, what VCE Variable is that?

No; I have no idea.

Each button controls an individual's hunger and thirst, so each plate houses its own function. That's why it looks spammy.

What if a plane dropped them all by accident? :3

It seems to me that they would be form careless  travelers.

Somebody went around and fixed them all :3

Yeah, thirst is evil. I think it's better now, tho.

looks decent, and on the buttons, why not just have one? you don't need to use relays, you can use printcounts
offtopic: shoot, just farted, reeks bad...

I played it :O It was cool besides the fact that I kept dying from dehydration haha. Otherwise, it was pretty cool. I got disconnected though cause I lagged out...

Because then if 1 person dies, they all do. I think. I've never tried, though.

As for print counts, I have no idea what you are talking about.

I remember you! Yeah, there's a bit of a glitch that causes you to keep dying. As for the disconnect, that happens when I save...

Bump, because I have a server up! :D

Mind if I borrow this idea and take it further? I see potential, but it needs better building skills  to be considered an RP.

no it doesn't

you don't have to reach a required building level to be able to build a role play
