I think its just catching on because those pics are so easy to modify.

NINJAEDIT:All you have to do is find the path, then take the picture and mash it up a bit, or create your own, and rename it so that BL will register it as the picture to use.

I made my own custom one.

Why must we replace the original icon why not create a add on as done with the cursors though many people never do the add on process but it would be worth the time i will not replace the original so you may loose downloads due to this fact.
