Monitor borked.

No sooner do I make a thread about how badass this monitor is that I get this unsightly band of 'forget you' running down the middle of my screen.



Does anyone know why this happens and if there is any way to fix it?

I had something similar happen. It was a line running along the bottom of it.

I have thin lines that run across my screen. Slightly annoying but you get used to it. Sometimes my laptop screen glitches out but I just tap it or adjust it and it fixes its self.

Well, it actually got worse from the picture. It's now debilitatingly discolored, same size.

It actually did. It looks like it's gone for now but it'll probably come back.

Look at your cable(s).

Might be your graphics card doing it? Did you try a lower resolution? Try updating video drivers? See if that helps.
