I guess I had better check the date on all my candy bar wrappers from now on, wouldn't want any that far past the sell date.

Evidence gathered after they go through the process of scientific experimentation. Even with all this evidence, can you still conclusively prove things that happened far before human consciousness even existed?

Can you prove you exist? Everything is always going to require that much "faith"

Everything that happened later than 2000 years is till up to a lot of debate because there is no way for certain to put together an entire history based off of some cave paintings and a few sparse bones here and there.

Well this makes it obvious you have no idea the amount of overwhelming evidence there is. I also love how you choose just about the age Jesus Christ was supposedly born.

That's like me saying that Dinosaurs probably ate candy bars because we found a candy wrapper and a few dinosaur bones in close proximity.

No, it's like me saying a few million years into the future "humans probably cut down wood for their use because we've found a camp of human bones (which we've dated to be about 1,002,00 years old) beside an area full of fossilised tree stumps, most of which have been dated  to around the same age. Therefore it would be reasonable to assume that humans cut down trees, although I may be proven wrong.

It will later be proven wrong, but a lot of things we assumed about dinosaurs have been proven wrong even when we had all this evidence right in front of our noses.

Of course your theory will be proven wrong; you based it on a completely stupid collection of facts. If you'd dated the candy wrapper somehow and then found bits of said candy in their feces or their stomachs when they died THEN you might have grounds to make such a prediction. Your example would be like me saying pavement produces streetlamps because they're always found on pavement. Furthermore; being able to be proven wrong is not a flaw.

Evidence and theory and facts do not make scientific fact. It is the gathering of like-minded people who all collectively believe in one thing to make it into something real for everyone else. Sounds a bit like a religion to me.

I'm not surprised you're religious if you consider a lot of people believing something fact.

Religion cannot be proven wrong therefore it should not be assumed to be true.

Can you prove you exist? Everything is always going to require that much "faith"

Cogito ergo sum.

Ergo Cogito Sum.

That's made up to make you think it's true!!!1!!

Conscience:

Devil on right shoulder.

Angel on left shoulder.

Except Devil's and Angel's are nonexistent fairy creatures.

Here is my, albeit brutish opinion on such ways of thinking.

"Sorry people. I have real problems to worry about, I can't take time out for things I really don't care about and are beyond my understanding. Good day sir!"
Also includes religion.

Except Devil's and Angel's are nonexistent fairy creatures.
They're real if you're smoking the right joint.

Evidence and theory and facts do not make scientific fact.
What.

"Sorry people. I have real problems to worry about, I can't take time out for things I really don't care about and are beyond my understanding."

I pity you.

EDIT:

What.

Silly Yuki, fact =/= fact.

Get the pole out of your ass, CUCUMBER.

I pity you.

EDIT:

Silly Yuki, fact =/= fact.
I'm supposed to use my valuable time on Earth to try and use my small human brain to process information completely beyond our realm of thinking? Sorry, my main focus now is grades and a job, not philosophy.
