I'm supposed to use my valuable time on Earth to try and use my small human brain to process information completely beyond our realm of thinking? Sorry, my main focus now is grades and a job, not philosophy.

So you couldn't get a job teaching philosophy or something?  I'm pretty sure if you can waste time posting on this forum and playing games you can use your brain a bit.  Thinking and arguing help reasoning skills and increase brain activity.

People thought that space was beyond our realm of understanding because they didn't know what it was.

People thought that space was beyond our realm of understanding because they didn't know what it was.
People once thought science itself was beyond our realm of understanding because they didn't know what it was. Blasphemy lead to unjust executions and arrests.

Unfortunately, arguing about things not yet known to man and beyond the way we think is entirely factless. I have nothing to build an argument on. And I dislike philosophy, personally.

But space is explorable. Death is? Conscience is? We will have a way to reach these states of "being" in our lifetime? Let the next generations deal with it, I'd rather lead the average American life than sit here and rant on about things I have no idea of what they mean.

Edit: when I say "reaching death" I mean going to and from.

I do enjoy a healthy religion war.
* Matt enjoys the show.

What I don't get is why do super hot beach babes stare at me like I'm some sort of pig for staring at them because they're wearing super skimpy and super revealing bikinis? It's just absurd.

Get out.

On-topic: Honestly, I didn't think this would have so much thinking involved.
Sorry I doubted this topic.

For what? For thinking in the thread about thinking?

Nice job disregarding what I said. I said that people didn't know that space was explorable. We don't know whether death is explorable.

This fight's gonna go on for a while...

Which one? The one about conscience or the one about Sarge's need to have women enjoy his gaze?

The simple truth is that creationists have nothing to fight with. Theists as a whole have a little more room, but it all comes down to them making an assumption on faith.

Everything, I can't stand it. Yay wirst protector :D

I fail to see where that is. I apologize, I was brought up taking the literal meaning of orders and phrases, not implied.
