I think that it might work if you re-sized them down to the dimensions of the original crosshair, then made them slightly transparent.

Nah i'll just use my backup crosshairs i made.

Well think about a bullet a reddot is technically the size of the bullet ingame If you want to use one of these i recommend trying the reddot first.

This is the size I go for.
NOTE: I didn't try to put effort into this, just made it for an example.

BTW can you use a .gif in a ui?

The 2nd crosshair reminds me of the level, Krack Shot Kroc from Donkey Kong Country 3.


I think I like this more than my current (non-default) one :O

Edit:
The vertical line on the green one doesn't appear to be centered perfectly.  Either that or the horizontal parts aren't even in length.
