Author Topic: Why do people install their Blockland in C:Program files?  (Read 1776 times)

Why do people do this?I have my Blockland in a folder in my desktop.

Because keeping your blockland folder on your desktop is stupid.

1. Because its default installation directory is Program Files
2.

Because the latter of us are not autistic.

I keep mine in my 'user' file because Vista is over protective to Program Files.

This'd be the answer. unless you're stupid enough to install blockland in system32 or your desktop. (by desktop i mean all the files.)

Technically it does, if the folder is unwritable...

well true.

But I meant in most cases..

Back when I could only run Blockland on my laptop, I had to put it in My Documents because I didn't have any admin privileges on it.
Then when I got a DX10 card finally I put Blockland on my external hard drive and it's been there ever since.

C:\BL\

Would be on my external but I don't like to have to plug it in to play games.

Computer tribal.

I've got a Mac, man. I use my Applications folder.

Because doing so on Windows XP doesn't screw anything up and banish your screenshots to the very depths of computer hell.

How does this happen? If you can eplain how things randomly vanish I will be pleased to move My BL Folder there,it will hopefully fix the gui music problem.
