We just like to get to the bottom of things, and we get down there by killing babies and maiming the elderly. Sure we all could've let him fake his IGN job and everyone would've been happy, but what if allowing this to slide lead to the death of your mother? You may not care about your mother, but I do, and I am willing to protect her at any cost.
