I don't see the harm in trying it.

You must have missed the part where they put backdoor code into their previous projects and have been hell bent on destroying Blockland for the last 5 years.  You must have also missed that thread on the TBM forum where they wrote collaborative fan fiction about murdering me and all their other hacking fantasies.

I would not run any executable from these people.

I actually did miss both.

See, that's part of the problem. You can't know that until you play it.
Are you to lazy to read or something?
The problem is these people make stuff there nothing but script kiddies that modify early Blockland.
They aren't worth any of our time for the stuff they make including malicious code.

It's amazing how you always come back to the whole "we're not hurting you so lay off" argument.

tl;dr

That's close to an IDC.
If you don't want to read the long post, don't say that you don't want to read it.

Badspot has (probably) been through most of the thread and he wasn't banned - I was making a point of saying that is was just a wall of text that kept on repeating the same point.

Correct me if i'm wrong too (I thinks) the "I don't Care" rule only applies to the OP of the topic.

Don't be stupid. If you're asking what a wall of text comes to, you obviously care don't you?

Well I guess you're right there seeing how CyberPrime does merit some respect having some kind of history with Blockland (good or not, I'm not in the position to judge that) and is more of an ambassador than anything else, but also he (and everyone else in the topic) are so wound up in their animosity, opinions, rebuttals, and general mistrust that no one who posted doesn't care.

What this seriously needs is a truly impartial judge to get a decent comment on both games (not communities!).
Perhaps Badspot should approach Garage Games again and ask them to look for the virus?

In my opinion, people should just ignore the game and let the people who wish to play it take the risk of contracting some sort of malware.

I've played TBG (and was actually modding it with CyberPrime at one stage) and the rest before I realised simply how much of a better game Retail is. I think even if FreeBuild has any substantial improvements to any form of 0002 mod, it's going to be exactly like it is now. A community of about 20 compared to an active community of 10,000+. I think it's easy to see where's the better place to be.

That's sensible, given the time that Badspot and Co. have had with the game; that is, multiple competent Torque coders.
I am unconvinced that any other than TBM's original dev's knew what they were doing.
