Icons and Stuff

Recently, I tries to make my own edit of the LAG icon in paint.
I made it, it looked pretty good, but then when I got round to testing it on a laggy server it popped up as LAG on a white rectangle

How do you make these sorts of thing transparent, or does paint just do that stupidly?

i see, my sister has a mac, she doesn't like it, i see it, i think it fails, it can't do squat, has no real file system that i have seen, besides, PC owns :D

Try Paint.NET, similar bitmap editing software, which I quite like. There is transparent function.
